Warm Blue Jay with Figs, Apricots, & Walnuts
Everything about this appetizer makes for easy and elegant entertaining. Melty blue jay, sweet figs and apricots, and toasty walnuts come together to create a sharable dish fit for any holiday table (or any time at all)!
What You’ll Need:
5 oz wedge The Blue Jay
5 dried figs, sliced in half lengthwise
4 dried apricots, sliced
1/4 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons olive oil
Honey, optional
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Place the wedge of The Blue Jay in a small baking dish and drizzle with one tablespoon of olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine the figs, apricots and walnuts, and toss in the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add these ingredients to the baking dish around the edges of the blue cheese.
Bake for 6-10 minutes depending on your desired meltiness. Drizzle with honey before serving, if desired.
