The King’s Brandy Old Fashioned

“Whenever we all got together for Thanksgiving and throughout the holidays, there was one tradition that I always looked forward to. My father-in-law, who I nicknamed The King, had way of saying, ‘Welcome back, we are thankful that you are here,’ by handing me a homemade Brandy Old Fashioned. The year that he shared his recipe with me was very special; it was the year that he told me it was my turn to learn how to make them so that I could keep his tradition alive. I know that I have made them perfectly when my wife says that they taste just like her dad’s. Now, I want to share his recipe with you, so you can welcome home those you love with The King’s gesture of friendship. Cheers to a wonderful holiday season.”
